Who we are

BabyNestly is developed by Caglar Ergul, who is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: caglarergul@me.com.

Information you enter in the app

To use BabyNestly you can enter:

• a baby profile: name, date of birth and, if you choose, girl or boy;
• feeding, sleep and diaper entries with their times and optional notes;
• weight and length measurements.

This information is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. BabyNestly does not store it in iCloud and does not send it to us. It may be included in your device backups according to your iOS settings.

Optional account

BabyNestly works fully without an account. Some versions may offer an optional Sign in with Apple account. If you use it:

• we receive an anonymous identifier that Apple creates for our app; we do not ask for your name or email address;
• we create an internal account ID and sign-in tokens. On our server, tokens are stored only in hashed form; on your iPhone they are kept in the device-only Keychain;
• your baby's care records are not uploaded to our server. If we ever offer syncing between devices, we will update this policy and ask you in the app first.

Technical data

When the app communicates with our server (only if you use an account), the server processes your IP address to protect the service against abuse; it is kept in memory briefly and not written to our logs. We log a request ID, the internal account ID, the type of request, the result and its duration — never record contents or tokens.

This website uses no cookies, analytics, third-party fonts or scripts. The web server may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for security and operations.

Legal basis and purpose

We process data only to provide the app and the account you request (performance of a contract) and to keep our services secure (legitimate interests). We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Our server runs on infrastructure we rent from a hosting provider, which processes data only on our behalf. Apple processes the Sign in with Apple process under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

• You can edit or delete any entry, measurement or profile in the app at any time.
• Deleting the app removes all data stored by the app on that device.
• Account data is kept while your account exists. Signing out removes sign-in data from your iPhone. To delete your account and all related server data, email us; we will do this within 30 days. In-app account deletion will be available wherever accounts are offered.
• Expired sign-in sessions are removed from our server.

Children

BabyNestly is intended for parents and guardians, not for children. Information about a child is entered by their parent or guardian, who decides what to record.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. Because care records stay on your device, you control them directly. For anything held on our server, email us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Not medical advice

BabyNestly is a record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or medical advice.

Changes

We will update this policy when the app changes — for example before introducing syncing, family sharing or other online features — and change the date above. Significant changes will be shown in the app.
